Manjinder Kaur got unanimously elected as the senior vice-president and Sham Sunder Pal as the vice-president of the Kartarpur Municipal Council here on Monday.

The election was conducted under the supervision of SDM, Jalandhar-2, Balbir Raj Singh, appointed as convener by the DC of Jalandhar. Councillors and officers, including Executive Officer Randeep Singh Waraich, AME Gagandeep Singh and accountant Gurlal Singh were also present.

Kartarpur MLA and Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh congratulated the newly elected leaders and team of councilors.
