State RTI Cell chief honoured in Delhi

Shoki Tura, Punjab President of the RTI Cell under the Human Rights Council (India), was honoured in New Delhi for his outstanding public service and contributions to transparency initiatives. The recognition was conferred during a national conference organised by the Council, where it’s National President Aarti Rajput and special guest Pramod Kaushik presented the award.

Speaking on the occasion, Tura said that ever since joining the Council, he has consistently strived to deliver his best in strengthening awareness around the Right to Information Act and expanding the organisation’s outreach.

He added that the honour will further motivate him to work with enhanced dedication and bring more citizens into the fold of the Human Rights Council, particularly the RTI Cell. Tura also affirmed his commitment to working under the leadership of National President Aarti Rajput and to expanding district-level branches across Punjab.
