Nawanshahr, July 22
A review meeting chaired by Rajeev Verma, Additional DC (G), Nawanshahr, was held to address the complaints received at the CM Window. The meeting was attended by officials from various departments and Dr Gurleen, Field Officer to the Chief Minister cum-Nodal Officer, CM Window.
ADC (G) highlighted the Chief Minister’s directive to establish the CM Window at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in every district. This initiative aims to facilitate the public in registering their complaints without any confrontation and ensures timely redressal of grievances.
Verma instructed all departmental officials present to submit reports on complaints received at the CM Window within seven days. If a complaint is pending in civil court, details of the court case must be provided.
If any department fails to send the report within the time, the district head of that department must provide a written explanation for the delay. Non-compliance with these instructions will result in action against the responsible officials as per the rules.
The ADC (G) also appealed to the residents of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar to utilise the CM Window for registering their complaints.
