In a commendable effort to empower married women and provide relief from festive market inflation, noted social activist Anita organised a special subsidised sale at Janta Ki Saroi, located in Hargobind Nagar, Phagwara, ahead of Karvachauth. The event marked the start of the festive season and was formally inaugurated by Dr Sahil Kainth.

The sale received an overwhelming response from residents, particularly married women, who turned out in large numbers to purchase domestic goods and cosmetics offered at significantly subsidised rates. The initiative was aimed at making essential and festive shopping more affordable for families during a time typically marked by high expenses.

Anita shared this noble initiative has been her consistent effort for the past five years, with the objective of supporting women and easing their financial burden during the festive season.
