Surjit Academy defeat PIS Mohali 2-0

Surjit Hockey Academy, Jalandhar, defeated PIS Mohali 2-0 to register sixth victory in the Punjab Hockey League today at the International Hockey Stadium, Mohali. They are on the second position after playing eight matches in Punjab Hockey League. Sahajpreet Singh of Surjit Hockey Academy was declared the best player of the match.

Surjit Hockey Academy displayed excellent performance from the beginning. In the 11th minute of the game, Kushal Sharma scored through a penalty corner to make the score 1-0. Surjit Academy was leading 1-0 at half-time. In the 48th minute of the game, Ajaypal Singh scored a brilliant goal to give his team a 2-0 win. Olympian Rajinder Singh, Kulbir Singh, member Hockey Punjab were also present.
