The event, hosted by Sanjeevani Sharanam’s director and spiritual guide, Sangeeta Mittal, was an inspiring blend of spirituality, music and cultural performances that left a lasting impression on attendees.
The venue came alive as it was transformed into a dazzling space, illuminated with festive lights and filled with soothing musical notes, creating a serene yet celebratory ambiance. A musical band from Chandigarh set the tone with soulful melodies, followed by an emotionally powerful rendition of the Ramayana presented by Praveen Sharma and his troupe, captivating the audience.
The event saw the presence of several esteemed guests, including Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain; vice-chairman of Sonalika Group, Amrit Sagar Mittal; managing director, Deepak Mittal and other prominent members of the Sonalika family—Neeru Mittal, Raman Mittal, Sushant Sagar Mittal, Akanksha Mittal, Rahul Mittal and Tarun Maheshwari. The celebrations began with the ceremonial lighting of lamps before a beautifully adorned idol of Lakshmi Ganesh, marking the auspicious beginning of the evening.
In her welcome address, Sangeeta Mittal extended warm Diwali wishes and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain and her mother, Meenakshi Jain, for gracing the occasion.
Amrit Sagar Mittal conveyed Diwali greetings to the nation and lauded the committed efforts of the teams behind Sanjeevani Sharanam, the RRR Holistic Clinic and the RRR Autism Therapeutic School. He emphasised the profound social impact of these initiatives, describing their work as a shining example of humanity in action.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, in her address, praised the Sonalika Group’s philanthropic vision, calling their work an exemplary model of compassion. She acknowledged the global relevance of initiatives like Sanjeevani Sharanam and the Autism Therapeutic School and commended the Mittal family for promoting physical and mental wellness through their dedicated community service.
Adding to the festive spirit, the evening featured engaging games for guests, with a prize distribution ceremony recognising the winners. A vibrant selfie corner with Diwali-themed props became a favourite photo spot, enhancing the joyous atmosphere. The event concluded with a delicious and wholesome meal served to all attendees.
