To make people aware under the ‘Swacchta ki Lehar’ drive, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation and Superintendant of Tehbazari Department visited various areas of the city on Wednesday.

The officials paid visit to Qazi mandi, Garha, Model Gown and Urban Estate Phase-I, where the market committees were asked to maintain cleanliness, use two dustbins for dry and wet waste and not to use plastic carry bags.

Ashwani Gill, Superintendent of the Tehbazari Department, said the drive would continue for some time to encourage the market owners to ensure cleanliness everywhere.
