A vibrant Ramp Walk by teachers in traditional attire and a joyous display of Punjabi folk culture marked the grand Teej celebration at Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar.
Organised under the leadership of Principal Rachna Monga, the event honoured the invaluable contributions of teachers while celebrating womanhood and cultural heritage.
Teej - the festival symbolising joy, grace, and traditions - was celebrated with grandeur and heartfelt enthusiasm. The school campus came alive with colour, music, and festive spirit as a series of captivating performances unfolded. The air resonated with the sounds of Punjabi folk music, tappas, boliyan, and a soul-stirring Giddha, all performed with passion and grace.
Adding further to the festive atmosphere, teachers enjoyed swinging on a beautifully decorated peengh, evoking the traditional essence of Teej. A vibrant bangles cart and a mehendi stall were set up on campus, offering teachers a chance to indulge in customary joys and create cherished memories.
The celebration concluded with a delectable traditional feast, where everyone relished classic Teej delicacies like kheer and malpura, further deepening the cultural immersion of the day.
Principal Rachna Monga expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed guests for their gracious presence and lauded the staff for their enthusiastic participation, calling the celebration a tribute to the spirit of womanhood, tradition, and togetherness.
