The S Nirmal Singh Toor Memorial Tennis Tournament concluded with an impressive closing ceremony at the Model Town Tennis Academy, celebrating young talent and sporting excellence.
The champions were awarded Rs 11,000, while the runners-up received Rs 5,100. Trophies and certificates were presented across all categories, including U-12 boys & girls, U-16 boys & girls, men and women.
The Chief Guest, Nitin Kohli, Halka Incharge, Aam Aadmi Party, graced the occasion and added enthusiasm to the event by playing a few strokes on the court. He motivated the players, praised their dedication and honoured them with cash prizes and trophies.
The tournament was meticulously organised and hosted by Sukhdeep Singh Judge, chief coach and international tennis player. The event remained completely free for all participants, with special trophies dedicated to the memory of S Nirmal Singh. The championship witnessed participation from across India, along with notable international entries-one player from the USA and one from Canada.
