In an initiative aimed at combating the harsh impact of the winter season, Nawanshahr district administration, in association with Red Cross Society, took a forward step in mitigating the chilly effects of winter this year. Warm, branded, good quality winter jackets and sturdy sports shoes were distributed among the vulnerable members of the community in the district. As per information, 250 jackets and shoes were given to the needy.
