Trader attacked, robbed of Rs 7K, mobile phone

In yet another alarming incident, a daring attack took place at Ganpati Trader’s shop on Kala Sanghian Road early this morning. The victim, identified as Deepak, faced an unusual threat as bike-borne robbers armed with sharp weapons targeted him.
Recounting the incident, Deepak, who opens his shop at 6 am, said taking advantage of the fog, two men with their faces covered arrived at his shop on a bike. He said one of them stood in front of him and another beside him with a sharp weapon in his hand. “He put the weapon on my neck and asked me to handover whatever money I had. When I resisted, they attacked me, snatched my mobile phone and Rs 7,000 and fled,” he said. The Bhargo camp police said footage of the CCTV cameras was being scanned to identify suspects.
