Trials for senior women’s hockey team tomorrow

Trials for the selection of Punjab Senior Women’s Hockey Team for taking part in the 14th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship to be held from March 13 at Pune, will be held on February 29 from 9 am at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar.

Giving information in this regard, Hockey Punjab president Nitin Kohli and general secretary Amrik Singh Powar said that players belonging to Punjab can participate in these trials. A committee has been formed for the selection of these players. A coaching camp will be organised for the selected players. Players participating in these selection trials have been advised to bring along their original Aadhaar card. — TNS
