The Nurmahal police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets. Investigating officer (IO) Bodh Raj Singh said 141 (78 63 loose) intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurjit Singh, alias Mota, a resident of Seechewal village under the Lohian Khas police station. He was presently living at Mohalla Chhinbian, Nurmahal. The second accused was identified as Kishan, a resident of Kandola Kalan village. The IO said a case under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act was registered against the accused. A stolen motorcycle was recovered from the possession of Gurjit Singh, he said.
