In the first operation, the Patara police arrested two individuals Monu and Lucky Bahman, both residents of Rama Mandi. The arrests were made in connection with a robbery on January 2, 2025, targeting Baljit, a soldier from Ferozepur.

The victim was travelling in an e-rickshaw towards Jalandhar Cantt when the suspects diverted the vehicle to an isolated location near Bhojowal Gate Link Road. The suspects assaulted the victim and robbed him of his mobile phone and a wallet containing Rs 1,500 before abandoning the e-rickshaw and fleeing. Both accused have been arrested and are in police custody. Investigations are ongoing to recover additional stolen properties and establish their involvement in other criminal activities.
