The 35-year-old said, “I am not in a condition to talk right now. I have gone through a lot. I spent Rs 40 lakh to go to the US, for which I heavily relied on loan.”

Ramandeep said he wanted to go to Canada for which he approached two agents in Rajpura. “The agents told me that visa refusal rate was high in Canada. Thus, they sent me to the US. In October last year, I reached the UK and from there, I was taken to Mexico,” he said.
