Union protests Cong manifesto
Jalandhar: ‘Manifesto sara hai bekaar, jhooth hai Congress sarkar’ the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan/ Mid Day Meal union today held a protest in front of the office of MLA Jalandhar Central Rajinder Beri. They also gave manifesto of the government in a picture frame to protest against the government. Notably, the union has been demanding the regularisation for long. The protestors said the teachers appointed under the SSA in 2018 were regularised by the government, but the non-teaching staff that was appointed much earlier was still working on contractual basis, which was not right on the part of the government. — TNS
