Vajra Corps GOC motivates NCC cadets to be proactive, entrepreneurial

Lt Gen Ajay Chandpuria, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Vajra Corps, delivered an inspiring lecture to NCC cadets on Saturday. He was warmly welcomed by NCC Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Tewari, along with other NCC Battalion Commanders.

During his address, Lt Gen Chandpuria engaged with cadets and instructors from 2 Punjab, 8 Punjab, 21 Punjab, 2 Punjab Girls Battalion and 1 Air Squadron. He encouraged them to take initiative and foster an entrepreneurial spirit.

In his speech, the GOC also shared insights on the military significance of Operation Sindoor, emphasising its status as a symbol of the Indian Army’s courage and military strength. “Without crossing the border, we have successfully neutralised terrorist hideouts operated by the enemy. Operation Sindoor Part 2 is currently underway,” he said.

The Commanding Officers of various NCC battalions highlighted the role of the NCC in shaping the youth and their contributions during Operation Sindoor. The cadets, in collaboration with civil officials, had carried out mock drills and executed their roles effectively.

Lt Gen Chandpuria commended the cadets for their dedication and efforts. He urged them to continue contributing towards making India the world’s largest and most developed democracy. He also felicitated select cadets for their exceptional participation on the occasion.
