Vajra Punjab Hockey League-2024 commences
The Vajra Punjab Hockey League-2024 – Season I commenced with a grand opening ceremony on Monday at Katoch AstroTurf Stadium, Jalandhar Cantt. The inaugural event, held under the aegis of Vajra Corps, was graced by Maj Gen Atul Bhadauria, COS Vajra Corps, who officially inaugurated the tournament with the ceremonial rolling of the ball.
A total of 16 teams will be participating in the tournament this season, which will be conducted on a knockout basis. The opening match that followed the ceremony set the competitive tone for the tournament and was keenly contested.
The opening ceremony also captivated the audience present with an array of vibrant cultural performances.
