The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training has given a big relief to thousands of students of pharmacy colleges or institutions affiliated to it.

Now students of the board (both past and those from the current academic session) need not knock at the board office in Chandigarh to get their various types of documents verified or to collect these. Now they will be able to download their documents from the online system and using an application sitting at home.

Students will also be able to print documents with QR code and digital signature. Documents downloaded and printed from board prescribed authorised applications will be valid everywhere. The board has launched a student-friendly dashboard application. Its ceremonial launch was done on Monday by the Board Chairman-cum-Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Education Rahul Bhandari. After this official launch, this facility has started online. Board authorities updated the detailed guidelines on its official website.

Board Secretary Rajiv Kumar Gupta said this software would enable pharmacy students to get their documents available. This will provide better services to the students and increase transparency, efficiency and reliability in the system.
