The observance aims to foster integrity, transparency and accountability in public life. A range of activities will be organised throughout the week to raise awareness among employees, students and the general public about the importance of ethical conduct and good governance.

The inaugural ceremony will take place on Monday, where the Integrity Pledge will be administered to all officers and staff by the General Manager of RCF. The week will feature seminars, competitions, workshops and outreach programs designed to engage participants in discussions around ethics and vigilance.

In addition, special awareness campaigns will be conducted in nearby educational institutions to sensitise youth about vigilance, ethics and the importance of transparency in daily life.

Vigilance Awareness Week is part of the Central Vigilance Commission’s Participative Vigilance initiative aimed at combating corruption and promoting ethical governance. It is observed annually to enhance sensitivity toward the need for transparency in public administration. As part of this effort, a three-month campaign launched in August 2025 had already included special programs for RCF officers and employees.

To further promote integrity and transparency, motivational outreach banners and posters have been displayed across RCF. The Vigilance Department, headed by Chief Vigilance Officer Vinod Pal, is fully engaged in ensuring the successful execution of the event, through a series of awareness and outreach activities.
