Vijay Sampla acting international chief of mahapeeth

Former Union Minister Vijay Sampla has been appointed as the acting international president of the Shri Guru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth.

Joining him in the new executive team are former Rajya Sabha member Dushyant Kumar Gautam as international president, Union Minister of State Dr L Murugan as international vice-president, and former Uttarakhand MLA Suresh Rathore as national president.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
