The Goraya police have booked a Dhuleta villager for firing shots in violation of norms and endangering people's safety, during a wedding at Chak Des Raj village on February 17.

The accused has been identified as Hariman Singh, alias Harman, resident of Bara Pind, Goraya.

The FIR was registered today after a video of the incident went viral on social media. Even though the video shows a man collapsing abruptly on the floor as soon as a man standing next to him fires a shot at the wedding, the police maintained that the cause of the death of the deceased was due to heart attack.
