Over a hundred activists of the Ambedkar Sena and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) led by Surinder Dhadhey and Harbhghan Singh Balalon along with residents of village Bhularai sat on dharna before the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP).

The activists were protesting against the police and local administration for sheltering the alleged accused who attacked a government employee Pardeep Singh on the night of November 2. They were seeking strict action against the culprits.

The victim, Pardeep Singh was attacked by around 15 assailants when he was returning home in village Bhularai near Ambedkar park.

The protesters were demanding that Section 307 of Indian Penal Code should also be added in the FIR so that strict action could be taken against the culprits.
