Wedding bells are set to ring for hockey Olympians Mandeep Singh and Udita Duhan. Both are set to tie the knot at a gurdwara in Model Town on March 21.

Both-- Jalandhar-based Mandeep Singh and Hisar-based Udita Kaur--were part of the Indian contingent for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

While the men's team, represented by Mandeep Singh, won bronze in Tokyo and qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Indian women's team reached fourth place in Tokyo but did not qualify for the Paris Olympics.

Invitations for the gala wedding are being distributed by the families of the couple.

On Mandeep's side, a DJ party is scheduled to be held on the evening of March 19, which players of the Indian hockey team are likely to attend.

The marriage would be held according to Sikh rituals at a gurdwara on the morning of March 21.

A reception for dignitaries has been planned for the following day.
