A woman has died of snakebite at Handwal village. According to information, Davinder Kaur, wife of nambardar Tirath Ram of Handwal village, went to her fields on Saturday morning to collect fodder for milch cattle.
While Davinder was cutting fodder in a field, she was bitten by a poisonous snake. When Davinder came to know about the snakebite, she immediately informed her husband Tirath Ram. Tirath Ram immediately arranged a vehicle and took Davinder to the government hospital in Hajipur. By the time they reached the hospital, doctors there declared the snakebite victim brought dead. — OC
