Robbery incidents continue to rise in Goraya, with the latest case reporting from Dhandha village. A woman was robbed of her gold earrings by two bike-borne assailants and the culprits managed to flee the scene.

Jaswinder Kaur, wife of Amrik Singh and resident of Dhandha village, told the police that she was returning to her village on a scooter along with her husband and daughter from Goraya. When they reached near the Boparai canal bridge, two youths on a motorcycle approached from behind and snatched the gold earrings from her ears before speeding away.

The victim promptly informed the police, who have begun an investigation into the incident.
