A youngster has been arrested, and heroin has been recovered from his possession, after he attempted to flee after spotting a police patrol team in Kapurthala .

The incident occurred when a police team was conducting routine patrol duties, and spotted a youngster walking.

The man, upon noticing the police party approaching, became visibly nervous and tried to turn back in an attempt to escape.

The police team immediately apprehended him and questioned him.
