Jammu, February 24

The third day of the National Integration Camp-2020 started with morning ‘parbhat pheri’ on Monday. It was followed by yoga.

The highlights of the day were a cultural rally by the participants. The rally was flagged off by Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu (JU).

The participants in the rally were dressed in their regional attire, depicting their culture. The rally passed through the University of Jammu, Panama Chowk, District Police Lines and Vikram Chowk and culminated at theJU.

In the afternoon, Jasbir Singh, Dean, Students Welfare, who was the chief resource person, held an interactive session with students. The day concluded with cultural performances by the participating states in the evening session. On Sunday, the students were taken to the Suchetgarh International Border, where they visited the Gharana wetland. The activities held during the National Integration Camp were coordinated under the supervision of NSS coordinator Satinder Kumar programme officers — Hema Gandotra, Seema Rohmetra, Savita Nayyar and Meghna Dhar — along with college programme officers — Prof Manmohan Singh and Rakesh Sharma.
