Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Youth state president Digvijay Chautala has criticised the government, claiming that CM Nayab Singh Saini has lost control and that the state is being run by bureaucrats sitting in Chandigarh.
Speaking at a press conference in Fatehabad on Saturday, he said, “The CM has no hold over the administration. Law and order have collapsed, youth are struggling for jobs, and development in Haryana has come to a halt.”
He claimed that people were unhappy with the Congress and frustrated with the BJP, and that the JJP was the only remaining hope. “We are working to strengthen the JJP once again, especially by bringing in youth, just like we did with the INLD in 2012 by connecting with students,” he said.
Asked about a possible alliance or merger between the INLD and the JJP, he replied, “Politics is not a game of ‘ifs and buts.’ I cannot answer what is not in my control. I believe in staying positive. Yes, when families break, there is damage, but I believe in uniting people, not breaking them. What happens in the future, no one can say.”
He also defended himself against frequent criticism, saying, “Mud has been thrown at me, but I remain committed to my values.”
He said Haryana did not have a youth leader like Dushyant Chautala in any other party. “The JJP will work to bring relief to people suffering under the current system,” he said.
