Q.  I will be completing Class XII this year. However, I have not prepared for any entrance exams such as JEE etc. Now, My father has lost his job due to the pandemic. Can you suggest any job-oriented course which is not too expensive?

A. Well, tech giant HCL offers an early career programme called ‘TechBee’.

The work-integrated higher education programme is open for students like you who have completed Class XII.

Students are technically & professionally trained for entry-level IT jobs in HCL, where they undergo an extensive 12-month training to become software engineers.

While working at HCL, students may also enroll in a Bachelor’s degree programme from BITS Pilani & SASTRA University.

Interested students who wish to enroll for the programme must take up an entrance test. During the entire period of training, you will be paid a stipend of Rs 10,000 p.m.
