Admission to BTech in Punjabi University to be based on Class XII results

Punjabi University has decided to admit students to BTech courses on the basis of their Class XII results.
Officials said they had received over 3,000 applications for various courses and the first counselling for BTech courses would be held in the first week of August. They said the merit list for the engineering departments would be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks in mathematics, physics as compulsory subjects and chemistry and other optional subjects.
Dr Raman Maini, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, said the last date for applying for BTech courses was July 30.
Formalities for the admission will be taken care of online. Students will be able to submit their documents for the counselling process online and the merit list will be uploaded online.
