Bachelor in Design Programme

The School of Design and Visual Arts (SDVA) at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has announced admissions to its Bachelor in Design programme for the year 2021-22 with specialisations in Fashion Design, Interior Design,  Animation & Multimedia, and Graphic Design.

 After completion of the course, a student may work as a Fashion Designer, Fashion Stylist, Costume Designer, Interior Designer, Graphic Designer, Animation Filmmaker, VFX Artist, or Creative Head in reputed fashion & apparel brands, design houses, media houses, or corporate houses/institutions according to their specialisations. Some students with an entrepreneurial bent of mind may opt for setting up ventures in their respective fields.

 SDVA has strategic tie-ups with institutes of national repute such as Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and TME – Label France, among others.

Eligibility; For a Bachelor in Design programme, students need to secure at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2/Class XII in any stream from a recognised Board. Those students who are going to attend their final exams this year may also apply; however, the final admissions will be held only after they submit their board certificates with the minimum aggregate marks as mentioned.

 All eligible applicants shall be shortlisted based on their overall academic performances and aptitude in the online entrance test followed by a mock test.
