The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India is offering NSP Scholarships for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities 2020-21 to promote quality education among students who are pursuing studies at graduate/post-graduate/diploma level. The key objective of the scholarship is to recognise and promote quality education amongst students with disabilities by providing them with full financial support.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open for candidates who are pursuing studies at graduate/postgraduate/diploma level in notified institutions of excellence in education. They must have more than 40% disability and a valid certificate for the same. Also, they must have an annual family income of less than INR 6,00,000.

NSP post-matric scholarship for students with disabilities 

Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India, is inviting applications for NSP Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2020-21 from students of Class XI to postgraduate level. The scholarship aims to help students with disabilities to pursue further education so that they could earn their livelihood and find a dignified place for themselves in society.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open for candidates who have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher exam of a recognised Board of Secondary Education or University. They must have more than 40% disability certified by the competent authority. They must have an annual family income of less than Rs 2.50 lakh. Also, they must be pursuing post-secondary (class XI to postgraduate level) courses in recognised institutions.

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for Department of Mathematics Research Associateships, IIT Kharagpur 2020 from PhD in Mathematics degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, “From Discrete Particle to Population Balance Modelling: The Micro-Macro Transitions(PMT)”.

Eligibility:The fellowship is open for candidates who hold a PhD in mathematics with some experience in population balances.

IIT Kharagpur Department of Chemical Engineering Junior/Senior Research Fellowship

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for IIT Kharagpur Department of Chemical Engineering Junior/Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellows are required to work on the project titled, “Zonal Refinement Strategy to Expedite DEM Simulation of Fine Powder Flow(ZED)”.

Eligibility: The fellowship is open for candidates who hold a BTech with valid GATE/NET score or hold an MTech degree. However, for SRF, the students must have two years of research experience in addition to the above criteria.
