Part-time PG Diploma in Data Science and AI

To cater to the upskilling needs of IT professionals and to meet the industry requirements, IIIT-Delhi in collaboration with IBM has launched a nine-month-long PG Diploma in Data Science and AI (PGDDS&AI). The entire programme will be conducted online on the weekends (Saturdays and one Sunday every month).

•  Nine- month diploma course, 450 hours programme including online interactive sessions of 310 hours, and required self-study and project work of 140 hours
• 30 credits
• One term project
• All courses are mandatory (no elective)

• Industry-aligned certification examinations, including courses, credits, and responsibilities

 Who can apply: Students who have completed Graduation/Post graduation in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and intend to pursue a career in Data Sciences and AI.

· IT and other professionals with limited or no knowledge in artificial intelligence and want to make a career change.

· Policymakers, senior-level executives, and not-for-profit leaders who recognize the importance of AI and want to harness its potential responsibly.

· Decision-makers — from any organization, any industry, and any country — who work with internal or external technology teams.

 The application process for the programme is as follows:

 For Individual Candidates

Candidates apply for admission online and pay the Registration Fees of Rs 2000/-.

After receiving the application, the student is shortlisted for an interview.

The interview will be conducted online.

The successful candidate is given an offer of admission giving details of fees.

The students can pay the fees offline through a DD or online by visiting the website.

 For Sponsored Candidates

The Sponsoring Organization may fill Sponsorship Form for sponsoring candidates for the course. This form can be downloaded from the site and submitted by email at https://pgddsai.iiitd.ac.in/

After receiving the application, the student will be shortlisted for an interview.

After the online interview, based on the number of candidates being offered admission, the sponsored organization is issued with a formal admission offer indicating the total fees payable.

The fees can be paid online/offline through a NEFT/check/draft with covering information in a form.
