Panjab University extended the last dates for submission of examination forms (with and without late fee) for private/reappear/regular candidates of all UG/ PG & PG Diplomas, improvement/ deficient/ additional of all colleges/department examinations (semester system) without and with late fee (online/by hand) upto November 18 instead of November 9.

The forms can be submitted without late fee till November 18, with late fee of Rs 2,075 till November 23, with late fee of Rs 6,075 till November 27, with late fee of Rs 11,075 till December 2 and with late fee of Rs 22,075 till December 9. Students can also visit the University website www.puchd.ac.in for information.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
