The government of Punjab is going to announce official notification for recruitment for the post of Revenue Patwaris and Canal Patwaris very soon. The candidates preparing for the Punjab Patwari Examination should endeavour to take as many mock tests as possible to ace the exam. Previous years’ papers are also very helpful in understanding the pattern of the paper.
Eligibility criteria – 2020
Educational qualification:
i) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
ii) The applicant should possess at least 120 hours’ course with work experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified.
OR
At least 120 hours’ work experience in Computer Applications from a recognized institution or a Certificate of ‘O’ Level from the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (in short DOEACC).
iii) The applicant must have passed matriculation with Punjabi as one of the subjects or its equivalent level.
Age limit: Minimum age: 21 years. Maximum Age: 37 Years.
Expected exam pattern and syllabus 2020
The exam pattern for the post of Revenue Patwari and Canal Patwari Exam will be followed as:
Subject: General Knowledge
Maximum Questions: 15
Subject: Mental Ability Maximum Questions: 20
Subject: Arithmetic Skills
Maximum Questions: (i) Mensuration 15
(ii) Accounts 10
Subject: English Language Maximum Questions: 5
Subject: Punjabi Language Maximum Questions: 5
Subject: Computers/Information Technology Maximum Questions: 15
Subject: Agriculture Maximum Questions: 10
Subject: Punjab History and Culture Maximum Questions: 5
Total number of questions: 100
