Young Achievers’ Scholarship

Internshala has announced free access to Internshala Trainings, its e-learning platform, for academically bright students from the economically weaker sections. The scholarship aims to encourage the student community to continue learning and help them beat the odds of financial constraints. The students can learn varied skills including programming, data science, business, design, creative writing on Internshala Trainings through its short duration online training programmes. Students can choose from any one of the 19 Internshala online trainings which include Ethical Hacking, French Language, Machine Learning, Digital Marketing, and Creative Writing.

Eligibility: All students currently enrolled in a school or college (including distance education) with a history of good academic performance, i.e, with a score of 75 per cent and above in Class X, XII, and college and whose annual family income is less than Rs 2.4 lakh would be eligible for the scholarship.

MHRD PhD Fellowships for ASEAN Students

Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has announced this fellowship for students from ASEAN countries to pursue the PhD programme at an IIT of their choice. The aim of this fellowship is to support the research study of ASEAN students.

Eligibility: Students from ASEAN countries who are aspiring to get enrolled in a PhD programme at an IIT, can apply for this fellowship.

Details: Selected students will get monthly stipend up to INR 35,000 per month, research grant of up to Rs 1,70,000 and various other benefits.

Tiny Beam Fund’s Burning Questions Initiative (BQI), a non-profit foundation has announced this scholarship for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers around the world. Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science

Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India is offering this award to Indian researchers belonging to SC and ST categories. This scheme aims to provide research support to them and facilitate their equal participation in research and development in the field of Science & Technology. The selected candidates will receive financial benefits.

Eligibility: Indian active researcher from the ST or SC community, holds a PhD degree and is working for at least four years on a regular basis in academic institutions/national lab or any other recognized R&D institutions in the field of Science and Engineering, can apply for this scholarship.
