Jindal also named two newborn hyena cubs as Karna and Vikarna.

Jindal stated that the zoo served as a medium for entertainment, education, environmental conservation, and biodiversity promotion. He directed the officials to pay special attention to the quality of the animals’ food, behaviour, their visibility to tourists, health checkups, medications used in treatment, and breeding procedures. The MP also asked the officials to effectively utilise the vacant land in the zoo and plant more trees to make the area greener and more environment friendly.

Jindal stated that efforts would be made to transform Pipli Mini Zoo into an attractive and modern tourist destination not only for the state but for the entire northern India. He stated that no effort would be spared to provide the necessary resources and technical support. The MP also discussed future initiatives along the lines of jungle safari, which would provide a better experience for the visiting tourists, beautifying the zoo’s main entrance and making it more attractive.

Jindal assured the officials that efforts would be made to obtain special budgetary provisions for the zoo’s needs and improvements by discussing the projects with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

As part of the Sewa Pakhwada, Jindal planted a sapling and urged the people to plant maximum saplings and protect trees. To increase the zoo’s income, he suggested launching a special campaign on social media to encourage more people to visit.

Dr Vivek Saxena, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, and B Nivedhita, Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), were also present on the occasion.
