A happening night

Celebrating the grandeur of cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2020 took place in Mumbai on Thursday evening. Dazzling the red carpet with their presence were celebrities from Bollywood, television and fashion industry, including Chandrashekhar Pusalkar (Grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke), Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh, Dia Mirza, Malaika Arora, Kichcha Sudeepa, Adaa Sharma, Daisy Shah, Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Juneja, Madhu Chopra among others. Hosted by Ravi Dubey, the event saw a special dance performance by MJ5 and a fashion show, specially curated for the occasion by ace designer Nivedita Saboo.

Among the winners, Super 30 took away the award for Best Film and Hrithik Roshan was announced as the Best Actor. Most Versatile Actor award was given to Boman Irani, Decade Star award went to Anupam Kher and Youth Icon Female award was given to Priyanka Chopra. While Best Actor in Comic Role went to Riteish Deshmukh for Housefull, South superstar Kichcha Sudeepa was honoured with Most Promising Actor for his role in Dabangg 3.
