During the pandemic, the most-affected have been the local shops where customers are few and far between. Florian Hurel, make-up and hairstylist who has been working in the Indian entertainment industry, says, “Recently I went to my regular barber shop and the shop was deserted. I got extremely sad to see that.” He adds, “I think we should all help and encourage them. These people have families to take care of and they are in pain. Nowadays, people hardly visit local shops. I think it is our duty to help them survive.”
