EPIC TV is all set to launch a new limited series to celebrate the vibrant facets of the country. Titled as Safarnama, the show that will premier today (August 3), will be aired at 8.30 pm every Monday. It is hosted by the well-known television actor and passionate traveller Ankit Siwach. The series travels from Mumbai to the unseen corners of Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, and reveals to the audience unheard stories from these beautiful regions. Said Ankit, “Safarnama is very close to my heart and it is an honour to present the most beautiful parts of our country to the audience through my experiences. The show is also an ode to the Armed forces and the people of Himachal and Ladakh.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
