Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet are teaming up for the first time in the directorial debut of Kasshvie Nair’s untitled film, the shoot of which began recently. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikhil Advani and John Abraham, it will mark yet another collaboration among T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. The trio has previously collaborated on films like Batla House and Satyameva Jayate. Nair has previously assisted Nikkhil Advani on Patiala House and D-Day. She has also co-directed a TV series P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke.

In a recent media interaction, Nikhil said, “It is a coming-of-age love story written by Anuja Chauhan, Amitosh Nagpal and Kaashvie. It will be mostly shot in Punjab and Los Angeles. Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh will be sharing screen space for the first time and we will be finalising the title and release date soon.” Arjun expressed his excitement to work with Rakul for the first time as he said, “I have grown up in a joint family, so I understood that it’s the biggest pillar of love, strength and support. That’s the essence of our film, which has its heart in the right place. I’m having a blast even during the prep.”
