Rishab, who started his career 13 years back with Zee TV’s Aladdin has been doing well ever since. The actor says, “It was my mother’s dream to see me on screen and I’m glad I could fulfil it. I did not join any acting class, but doing theatre for three years helped me.” In 2014, Rishab ventured into films with Sonam Kapoor-starrer Khoobsurat and later was seen in movies like Drishyam and Lupt. His latest work includes Voot’s web series Illegal.
With a lockdown in the country, Rishab is experimenting with a series titled Love Locha Lockdown, which has light hearted content, but a powerful message to convey. The actor shares, “With Love Locha Lockdown, I wanted to depict the kind of conversation we have with ourselves. Also, I am including my take on situations people might be going through as of now. I have already begun writing and also learnt the basics of editing as well as shooting. I feel humour is a good way of spreading a powerful message and I miss being in front of the camera, so I thought why not create something from the scratch!”
