Anant Joshi, the good boy-turned-bad in the second season of Virgin Bhasskar, says he was very excited for the second season
- With season two having recently released, did you ever think that the first season would be such a huge success?
Absolutely. As an actor, you decide that you want to be part of a show because you believe in it so much. I don’t want to brag and sound over-confident here, but I always had a gut feeling that the show would be a huge success.
- What is the story line of Season 2?
In the second season, the story isn’t about finding the right girl or discovering true love; it’s a far deeper quest.
- How was the experience of shooting for the series during the pandemic?
We took all the necessary precautions and I must thank the production team, who took care of everything.
- How is your chemistry with Jiyaa Shankar?
We bonded really well right from the word go. From the very first day of reading the script with her, I felt that we were two long-lost friends. It seemed that we were just waiting to meet each other!
- What was your first reaction when you heard of the title Virgin Bhasskar?
I liked it a lot, as I thought the name and storyline was absolutely fantastic. I thought the script and its characters were simply amazing!
