How did you bag this character?

I am an ardent follower of Babasaheb, a great man and an inspirational leader. Getting an opportunity to be a part of a show on him was a big moment for me.

Back to shootings after a three-month gap. How do you feel?

I am excited to be back on the sets. There are limited people on the sets as compared to earlier times. I hope we get through this phase soon.

In the new scenario, how are you maintaining distance & hygiene?

All the actors and crew are doing their best to keep a safe distance from one another. Our temperature and oxygen levels are checked before we enter the sets. Sanitizers are placed in every corner. As actors we have to constantly touch-up our makeup. Now we try to minimise close contact with the makeup man.

What preparations did you do for this role?

I watched the previous episodes of the show to understand the bond between Ramji and Babasaheb. I also read a few books on him to understand the family tree of Ramji Sakpal. The preparation process was so enriching that I got to know many facts about Babasaheb that I had not known earlier.

Do you have any other projects in the pipeline?

Yes, there are a couple of projects in the pipeline, but those are yet to be finalised. I will speak about it once we are ready with it.
