Anita Hassanandani found herself in the middle of speculations on Friday that suggested that the actress had quit acting. However, she has now clarified that she is taking a break and not quitting. Anita took to Twitter on Friday and wrote, “It’s all over that I’m quitting my first love – acting – I never said that… All I said was that my focus right now is my child… Aaravv is my priority… I will resume work when I’m ready.”

Anita in a recent interaction had said that she would stay away from acting and focus on ‘being a mother’ for now. The actress had said, “I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So it’s not about the pandemic, I would have either way taken a break from the industry; pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid.” Well, it looks a simple case of words being misinterpreted and passed around on the internet, which had fans worried about the actress’ future in the industry.
