While Bollywood sends its heartfelt condolences to fans, family and friends, it also takes us back to their breakthrough album for the movie Aashiqui (1990), after which the melodies never stopped making sense to the music lovers. Not just filling in for good music, the dynamic duo is also credited for popularising India’s leading music label T-Series at that time as Aaashiqui is the best-selling album of Bollywood music of all times. From Sanson Ki Jarurat Hai Jaise in Aashiqui to Saajan, for which he won the Filmare Award for Best Music Director, many of his fans shared the album covers of his hits on social media to pay tributes.
