Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for his upcoming film Brahmastra in Manali. The actor, overwhelmed by the love people there have given him, took to social media on Wednesday to thank them all. Sharing a black and white photo in which Big B is seen wearing the traditional Manali cap, the actor wrote, “To the warm, loving and ever-smiling well-wishers from Himachal Pradesh, and in particular from where we work—Manali… thank you for all the love and generous care. Wearing their traditional welcome.”

Mr Bachchan on his journey to Manali stayed at the Bilaspur Circuit House, where he received a warm welcome by the entire staff.

Meanwhile, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles and directed by AyanMukerji, Brahmastra is the first part of a sci-fi trilogy. The film has been extensively shot in Bulgaria, New York and Mumbai, among other places.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
