Bollywood and entertainment stars erupted in praise as India’s women’s cricket team stormed into the ODI World Cup final after a record chase against Australia. Jemimah Rodrigues’ unbeaten 127 led India to victory at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, ending Australia’s 15-match unbeaten run.Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Girls can do it all! With grit and determination,” while Alia Bhatt called it “an unbelievable match.” Rashmika Mandanna cheered, “What a team… What a fight!” Samantha Ruth Prabhu hailed the win as “iconic,” and Keerthy Suresh said, “What a win… This marks #HerStory.”

Rishab Shetty called it a “thrilling win,” while Manoj Bajpayee lauded the “pure heart, grit and class” of the team. Vikrant Massey termed Jemimah’s knock “one of the greatest batting displays in cricket,” and Varun Dhawan called her “my hero.” Suniel Shetty praised the team’s “fearless chase,” and Arjun Rampal described the win as “a great moment for women’s cricket.”

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli congratulated the team for “chasing down the highest ever in women’s ODI history,” while Rajkummar Rao called it a “historic win.” Ayushmann Khurrana, Anil Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, R Madhavan, Farhan Akhtar, Ali Fazal, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Anurag Kashyap also joined in celebrating the triumph.

Rodrigues, alongside captain Harmanpreet Kaur (89), powered India to 341/5 in 48.3 overs, chasing Australia’s 338. India now faces South Africa in Sunday’s final — one win away from World Cup glory.
