Bold take: Akanksha Puri stars in Dons and Darlings

Akanksha Puri is all set to captivate audiences with her bold and complex portrayal in ALTT’s upcoming web series Dons and Darlings. Stepping into the world of crime and passion, Akanksha takes on the role of Naaz, a woman navigating a life fraught with betrayal, loss and emotional turmoil. The series introduces Naaz as the daughter of a powerful drug lord whose life was tragically cut short by her own husband.

This heartbreaking betrayal propels Naaz into a journey of survival and self-discovery. Her loveless marriage and search for affection add layers of vulnerability and complexity to her character.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
